ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CRE Secure, the industry’s leading cloud-based, secure payment solution for merchants, today announced that veteran payment technology executive Kevin R. Lee has been named president and chief executive officer effective immediately. He succeeds Greg McGraw who will remain on the company's Board of Directors.
“Kevin’s experience transforming payments technology companies will prove critical as this next phase of CRE’s advancement will highlight the power of our primary technology – HTML clone”
Lee brings experience in leading high growth companies in the payment technology industry, including guiding companies through rapid growth phases.
Most recently he served as CEO of Skylight Financial, a prepaid debit card provider, where he was instrumental in growing and ultimately leading the sale of Skylight to Netspend to form Netspend Holdings in 2008. Under his guidance, Skylight experienced significant growth and became a dominant player in the corporate prepaid debit card market.
“Kevin’s experience transforming payments technology companies will prove critical as this next phase of CRE’s advancement will highlight the power of our primary technology – HTML clone,” said Salvatore Iozzia, CRE’s founder and CTO.
Prior to Skylight, Lee held president, COO, and general management roles at several payment technology companies including Certegy/FIS, The John H. Harland Company, and Netzee. Lee began his career with Accenture after graduating from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
In addition to president and CEO, Lee will also serve on the Board of Directors. He is an advisor to Arsenal Capital Partners and sits on the steering committee for TAG FinTech where he focuses on sponsorship and recruitment activity.
“CRE Secure is well positioned to be the leading provider of payment security technology for merchants of any size. We have all the ingredients for achieving success rapidly, including proven products and top tier clients and partners,” said Lee. “I am delighted to have the opportunity to build upon CRE Secure’s success and the market’s growing demand for secure payments.”
