martMetrics Inc. Chief Executive Officer and President C. Hendrick said his company will sue Visa Inc. and MasterCard Worldwide to protect a SmartMetrics patent. SmartMetrics alleges Visa and MasterCard infringe on its U.S. Patent 6,792,464 (also known as '464') in their use of contactless or radio frequency identification technology to connect to a network.
