BillMyParents Marketing Campaigns Win Gold and Silver 2012 ADDYs (American Advertising Federation's Annual Industry Awards)
Creative Communications Company i.d.e.a. Commended for Work on 'Plastic is good' Campaigns
SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 5, 2012) - BillMyParents, Inc. (OTCQB : BMPI) (OTCBB : BMPI), the Responsible Teen Spending Company, announced today that their 'Plastic is good' marketing campaign has won four San Diego 2012 ADDY Awards. The campaign was developed and executed by creative communications company i.d.e.a., and promoted the BillMyParents SpendSmart™ MasterCard® card for teens. i.d.e.a. received one Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze ADDYs for their BillMyParents creative from the San Diego Ad Club, a member of the American Advertising Federation.
"The overall goal with the 'Plastic is good' campaign was to really make an impression with influential bloggers starting with exposure at the BlogHer conference," said Mike McCoy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BillMyParents. "We're thrilled that this work focusing on how our card uses technology to teach smarter spending habits has been recognized by the San Diego Ad Club."
i.d.e.a. was honored with a Gold ADDY in the "Sales Promotion" category for the physical booth they created for BillMyParents' onsite presence at the 2011 BlogHer Conference in San Diego. The "People's Choice" Silver ADDY was awarded for the BillMyParents 'Plastic is good' campaign in the "Non-Traditional Advertising" category. Both of these campaigns will compete at the district level covering southern California and southern Nevada, where winners will be announced on April 7, 2012.
Additionally, i.d.e.a. received two Bronze ADDYs for other BillMyParents creative, one for the "Nope" QR Code Campaign in the "Interactive Media" category, and one for the 'Plastic is good' microsite, also in the "Interactive Media" category.

District winners will compete at the national level with winners announced at the American Advertising Federation's National Conference on June 5, 2012, where the top campaigns out of more than 40,000 submissions will be honored.
