RentShare Allows All Renters to Pay Rent Online, Without Landlord Involvement

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 29, 2012
RentShare, a new company on the NYC startup scene, recently released a new update to their website -- a service that allows users to conveniently pay rent onlineto any landlord in the United States.
Whether or not your landlord accepts online payment, RentShare provides the option to either individually or -- if you have roommates – collectively make rent payments online using a credit or debit card. Once paid through the site, RentShare will combine each roommate’s payment and send a single check on the user’s behalf to the landlord, on time and without the hassle of writing and mailing multiple checks.
"For most of us, rent is the most annoying monthly bill we have to pay, mainly because it hasn't yet made it out of the 20th century. We set out to simplify the process and make RentShare the easiest way to pay rent, plain and simple. With our latest release, we’re proud to say we’ve been able to do just that, but this is only the beginning," said RentShare co-founder, Ian Halpern.
Users can also opt-in for auto-pay options that, once linked to a bank account or credit card, will allow users to pay their rent automatically each month. RentShare’s reminder capabilities will also alert users of upcoming due dates in order to avoid late payments.
