PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ, Jul 16, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Since forming eight years ago, Smart Card Alliance Industry Councils have become leading resources for information and education on the acceptance, use, and applications of smart card technology for identity, payment, transit, access control, and mobile applications. To honor the members that have devoted themselves to Council projects, the Smart Card Alliance has announced the top Council contributors and Honor Roll for 2012.
"Our Councils are successful due to our outstanding members and their contributions. These individuals all have demanding jobs, yet provide input, time and energy into our Councils on a daily basis," said Randy Vanderhoof, executive director of the Smart Card Alliance. "We thank our top contributors, as well as all of our Council members, for their dedication and for their enthusiastic participation in projects that make a marked difference for our industry."
