SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC) today announced that Peoples Trust Company and Integrated Card Exchange, an affiliate of CardWorks, Inc. will market Hypercom’s Optimum T4210 (dial) and T4220 (Ethernet with dial) high security payment terminals to Independent Sales Organizations and merchants in Canada, effective immediately. Planet Payment has Class A certified Hypercom's popular SPOS32 payment software on the two terminals.

Both terminals have received EMV certification from the Interac Association, Canada’s national debit card program, allowing merchants to accept the popular Interac debit cards at their establishments. The T4210 and T4220 also feature a robust suite of software applications, including support of Pay in Your Currency™. With Pay in Your Currency™, powered by payment processor Planet Payment, Canadian merchants can offer international MasterCard® or Visa® cardholders the convenience of paying for purchases in their home currency.
