Underbanked Solutions Exchange to Meet and Welcome Newest Participants
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI) begins its 5th Annual Underbanked Financial Services Forum today with Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter and Square, delivering the keynote address at 4:30 pm.
In his address, “Social Media Meets Financial Services: Square the Circle,” Dorsey will give attendees the latest details on Square, his newest endeavor. With the Square reader—a small gadget that plugs into mobile devices—individuals and merchants can easily and instantly accept credit card payments. Dorsey will be guiding an interactive demonstration of Square’s latest Smartphone applications within his presentation.

Prior to the start of The Forum today, CFSI’s Underbanked Solutions Exchange, generously sponsored by Meta Payment Systems, will meet and discuss new research conducted by CFSI and Meta Payment Systems on the nuances of distributing general purpose reloadable prepaid cards in the branch environment. The Underbanked Solutions Exchange is a collaborative group of mid-size banks and credit unions engaged in action-oriented discussions to share thoughts, ideas, questions, and experiences with other institutions all with the ultimate goal of profitably and responsibly serving the underbanked.
